Following the model established by Noah’s monastic teachers, Against The Stream has created its own program to provide a structure for lay people to practice and study together. Quarterly retreat days will be held at the meditation center each year, where students establish or renew their commitment to the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, practice meditation, share a meal and have an opportunity to share with each other where they have fallen short of their intentions around ethics and the precepts as we offer ourselves and each other forgiveness, compassion and support.
