Some of you've been practicing for a long time, and so of course you're aware that when we practice Buddhism, especially in this kind of tradition of Buddhism, you get this toolbox of meditations. You get the mindfulness practices, and then within the mindfulness practices, you get the four foundations. You get the 16 reflections of breath awareness. You get the engaged mindfulness into to everyday life. I primarily teach the four foundations mindfulness.
Where do you find yourself these days in your meditation practice? Are you focusing on training the mind to be more compassionate or ignoring the mind? Are you still coming back and disengaging from what the mind is doing? Coming back to the breath, the body, the first foundation, or are you doing some third foundation observing non non-interfering awareness of the mind?
